Head of Client Delivery
Ian leads UK Power Networks Services. For more than 20 years, Ian has worked with leading utilities, governments and regulators in global energy markets. He has a track record of delivering improved financial performance and growth through developing and executing business strategies, exploiting new technologies and leading power market development.
Ian is an experienced leader, transforming utilities to adapt to and thrive in evolving energy systems. He has worked internationally across multiple regulatory regimes and modes including electricity, water and gas. Prior to joining UK Power Networks Services Ian was the EMEA Managing Director at Navigant, a Partner with LCP and a consultant with Ernst & Young. Ian has a BA(Hons) and an MSc in philosophy, psychology, statistics and artificial intelligence.
Lucy leads the Safety, Health and Environment team and has been instrumental in achieving a culture of zero harm across our business. She has achieved this by giving all employees the behavioural tools to make the right decision and avoid harm to themselves, colleagues and members of the public.
She was a key player in the development and implementation of the successful Stay Safe culture change programme, which has resulted in maintaining an injury free workplace for more than five years. Lucy has worked for UK Power Networks and its predecessor companies, SEEBOARD and EDF Energy, for 18 years in various safety roles including responsibility for the health and safety of more than 2,500 employees.
David is a chartered electrical engineer (FIET) with more than thirty-five years’ experience working in the rail and power industry. His previous roles included Operations and Maintenance Manager for EDF Energy and Managing Director of UK Power Networks Services Powerlink.
In addition to leading our Asset Management, Consulting, and Design and Commissioning teams, David is responsible for the delivery of major projects for key clients including works at Hinkley Point C, Great Western train line (GWEP) and London Underground. He looks to ensure supply resilience for key clients by overseeing our operations and maintenance and asset replacement at High Speed 1 and Heathrow, Gatwick and Luton airports.

Head of Strategic Advisory Services
Jason leads and supports the delivery of projects and maintenance for key clients including Canary Wharf, DLR, Stansted Airport, City Airport, Aspire Defence and Network Rail.
He has worked in the electricity industry for over 30 years, the most recent position being Head of Technical Training and Assurance in the Safety, Strategy and Support Services directorate of UK Power Networks, where he was in post for eight years. Prior to this, Jason held a number of management positions including Head of Zero Harm, Cluster Manager for various areas. He has a BA (Hons) in Business Management.
Philip joined UK Power Network Services in February 2019. In his role as Head of Markets he is responsible for business development activities, including marketing and bidding, alongside the creation of strategic alliances and partnerships.
Most recently, Phil was Sales Director for Siemens Rail Systems in the UK, responsible for the sale of new rolling stock, along with maintenance and upgrade packages. Prior to that he was a Bid Director in Arriva’s Rail Franchising team. During his career he has held senior roles in business development, project management, procurement and various operational roles. Philip has a BSc (Hons) and an MA in Marketing.
Kieran is a chartered engineer and joined UK Power Networks Services in 2017. In his role as Head of Strategic Advisory Services, Kieran is responsible for asset management, energy technology consulting while also leading on strategy and regulation, product development, client solutions and innovation.
Prior to this, he was Head of Engineering and Safety for the Energy Networks Association, and has worked in transmission and distribution for electricity and gas businesses in the UK, Ireland and Australia.

Head of Commercial Services
Richard leads our Estimating and Commercial teams, and the Governance, Compliance and Quality teams who effectively mitigate risk for our company and our clients, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Richard is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. With more than thirty years’ experience working in the rail, construction and power industries, Richard has previously held senior roles at Laing O’Rourke and Balfour Beatty.
